A Road Captain’s Safety Training
class will be held on Thursday, November 6. If you are a current Road Captain
and were not able to attend the training that was held in May, this will be your last opportunity this year. Being a Road Captain is a very important role in the Muletown Chapter.
The safety of our members depend on how prepared we are for our rides, and helps to insure that we get to our destinations
with minimal problems and as safely possible.
Chapter requirements for Road Captains
are that you participate in the safety training class, and that you plan / lead at least one ride, and sweep for another. If you area current Road Captain, please make sure that you have met this criteria
in order to maintain your current status.
Any members who are not currently a
Road Captain and may have an interest in becoming one may attend this class as well and then we will work you in the rotation
starting in 2009.
All Road Captains will receive a “Road
Captain” rocker for your vest.
The class will start
at 7:00 p.m. and will be held at “The Garage”. If you need more information,
or directions, please contact our Head Road Captain, Jerry Knox at simplemanl2r@yahoo.com
